Uniface Anywhere - A Server-Based, Thin-Client Solution

Why Uniface Anywhere?
Uniface Anywhere solves the common problem of deployment. In today’s world of BYOD, we don’t have to worry about the users, clients, and applications. Users have everything they need to download and install an application, but we must consider the security and privacy of those applications.
We want to make sure that our employees and business partners are only using Uniface AnyWhere for their applications and that our users are not at risk of being infected by malware that comes from an external source. With Uniface AnyWhere, you can set permissions for your users so they can be authorized and can only use your applications.
How does it work?
A user connects to a Uniface AnyWhere host. The host takes a small amount of time to check for a valid connection and, if the connection is valid, serves the application from the local host. The user never has to install the application. They can be used with any application, including all native Windows applications and Uniface AnyWhere applications.
If the connection is invalid or the host cannot serve the application, a warning will be displayed. If the user chooses to continue, then the application will not be served from the host and a message will be displayed to the user to allow Uniface AnyWhere to serve the application.
